APG stocks the FVV-0170-A, a Viton® (FKM) Type A V-Ring Seal. A v-ring seal acts as a primary or secondary exclusion seal that flings dirt and water away as the shaft turns.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Verify compatibility before use with amines or hot water and steam.

Typical settings include aerospace, semiconductor equipment, and automotive fuel systems.
