*METRIC FLUOROELASTOMER V SEAL TYPE S

FVV-0180-S is a Viton® (FKM) Type S V-Ring Seal. In service, this v-ring seal stretches onto a shaft and seals axially against a counterface, shedding contamination by centrifugal action.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to many acids, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Verify compatibility before use with low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters.
