Part number FVV-0199-A is a Viton® (FKM) Type A V-Ring Seal. A v-ring seal installs without tools and seals against the face of a housing or bearing.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It resists chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or ketones and esters.

Typical settings include oil and gas, high-temperature process equipment, and aerospace.
