VITON V SEAL 400 A STYLE

APG stocks the FVV-0400-A, a Viton® (FKM) Type A V-Ring Seal with a nominal shaft size of 400. A v-ring seal stretches onto a shaft and seals axially against a counterface, shedding contamination by centrifugal action.

This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Exposure to hot water and steam or ketones and esters will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, aerospace, and chemical processing.
