This o-ring is supplied in black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 43 mm (1.693 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 45 mm (1.77 in), catalogued under part number H1X43. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. It resists hydraulic fluids, petroleum-based oils, and greases and lubricants. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where strong acids or ozone and direct sunlight are present.
