8-015 BLACK BUNA 90D BACK-UP RING

The HB90015 is an AS568-015 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.551 in (14 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.691 in (17.55 mm). This back-up ring allows a standard o-ring to operate at higher pressures than it could unsupported.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. This material stands up to propane and butane, hydraulic fluids, and greases and lubricants. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in automotive brake fluid or polar solvents.
