8-024 BLACK BUNA 90D BACK-UP RING

The HB90024 is an AS568-024 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.114 in (28.3 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.254 in (31.85 mm). This back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. It resists propane and butane, water, and hydraulic fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where automotive brake fluid or strong acids are present.

It sees regular use in general industrial maintenance, agricultural equipment, and fluid power.
