8-030 BLACK BUNA 90D BACK-UP RING

Part number HB90030 is an AS568-030 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.614 in (41 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.754 in (44.55 mm). A back-up ring allows a standard o-ring to operate at higher pressures than it could unsupported.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It resists water, greases and lubricants, and hydraulic fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ketones or ozone and direct sunlight will shorten service life.
