8-126 BLACK BUNA 90D BACK-UP RING

The HB90126 is an AS568-126 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring with an inside diameter of 1.362 in (34.59 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.568 in (39.83 mm). This back-up ring installs on the low-pressure side of an o-ring to prevent extrusion into the clearance gap at elevated pressure.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) offers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. This material stands up to petroleum-based oils, many alcohols, and hydraulic fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where polar solvents or automotive brake fluid are present.

Typical settings include fluid power, automotive, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
