8-132 BLACK BUNA 90D BACK-UP RING

HB90132 is an AS568-132 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.737 in (44.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.943 in (49.35 mm). In service, this back-up ring allows a standard o-ring to operate at higher pressures than it could unsupported.

The material holds up against petroleum-based oils, hydraulic fluids, and water. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs.
