8-156 BLACK BUNA 90D BACK-UP RING

APG stocks the HB90156, an AS568-156 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.237 in (107.62 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.443 in (112.85 mm). A back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. Expect good resistance to water, many alcohols, and petroleum-based oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
