8-327 BLACK BUNA 90D BACK-UP RING

HB90327 is an AS568-327 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.725 in (43.82 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.145 in (54.48 mm). In service, this back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. It resists many alcohols, greases and lubricants, and propane and butane. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or polar solvents.
