8-369 BLACK BUNA 90D BACK-UP RING

The HB90369 is an AS568-369 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.975 in (202.57 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.395 in (213.23 mm). This back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material holds up against petroleum-based oils, many alcohols, and hydraulic fluids. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
