HSN (HNBR) 80 568-117

Part number HSN80117 is an AS568-117 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.799 in (20.29 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.005 in (25.53 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The material holds up against ozone and weathering, heat and oxidation, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Exposure to strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
