HSN (HNBR) 80 568-214

HSN80214 is an AS568-214 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.984 in (24.99 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.262 in (32.05 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to sour gas and amine inhibitors, petroleum oils and fuels, and ozone and weathering. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving esters or ketones call for a different compound.

Typical settings include heavy-duty powertrain, automotive air conditioning, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
