HSN (HNBR) 80 568-335

HSN80335 is an AS568-335 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.725 in (69.22 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.145 in (79.88 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, modern refrigerants, and ozone and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving strong oxidizing acids or esters call for a different compound.
