HSN (HNBR) 80 568-429

The HSN80429 is an AS568-429 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.975 in (126.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.525 in (140.34 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Expect good resistance to heat and oxidation, petroleum oils and fuels, and ozone and weathering. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or esters.

It sees regular use in engine timing systems, oilfield and downhole equipment, and commercial refrigeration.
