This o-ring is supplied in AS568-109 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.299 in (7.59 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.505 in (12.83 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90109. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. The material holds up against sour gas and amine inhibitors, petroleum oils and fuels, and heat and oxidation. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or strong oxidizing acids are present.
