4001-366Y MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

HQ4001 is an AS568-001 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.029 in (0.74 mm), a cross section of 0.04 in (1.02 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.109 in (2.77 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

This material stands up to many alcohols, hydraulic fluids, and greases and lubricants. Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or automotive brake fluid are present. The profile itself contributes resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings and a parting line located away from the sealing surface.

Typical settings include construction equipment, agricultural equipment, and fluid power.

Stocked as HQ4001 and sold individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 1/32 inch. Confirm chemical compatibility, pressure and temperature against your own application requirements before installing.
