This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-005 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile measuring an inside diameter of 0.101 in (2.57 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.241 in (6.12 mm), catalogued under part number HQ4005. It seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for strong abrasion and tear resistance, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. Expect good resistance to greases and lubricants, many alcohols, and petroleum-based oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or ozone and direct sunlight.
