HQ4008 is an AS568-008 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.176 in (4.47 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.316 in (8.03 mm). In service, this quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. This material stands up to hydraulic fluids, propane and butane, and many alcohols. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Verify compatibility before use with strong acids or polar solvents.
