4012-366Y MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

The HQ4012 is an AS568-012 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.364 in (9.25 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.504 in (12.8 mm). This quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

The compound resists greases and lubricants, water, and many alcohols. Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for strong abrasion and tear resistance, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving polar solvents or strong acids call for a different compound. The profile itself contributes resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings and a parting line located away from the sealing surface.
