The HQ4015 is an AS568-015 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.551 in (14 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.691 in (17.55 mm). This quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. Expect good resistance to many alcohols, hydraulic fluids, and water. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
