**4038-366Y MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

Part number HQ4038 is an AS568-038 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.614 in (66.4 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.754 in (69.95 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

It resists hydraulic fluids, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or automotive brake fluid are present. The profile itself contributes two sealing bands per contact face rather than one and a parting line located away from the sealing surface.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across hydraulic and pneumatic systems, fluid power, and general industrial maintenance.

Reference part number HQ4038 when ordering; the item is sold individually. Check the compound against your process media, pressure and temperature before committing to a design. For a size or compound outside the standard catalog, APG can quote from a print or sample.
