This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-105 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile built to an inside diameter of 0.143 in (3.63 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.349 in (8.86 mm), catalogued under part number HQ4105. It resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers low compression set under sustained load, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. It resists propane and butane, many alcohols, and hydraulic fluids. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ozone and direct sunlight or polar solvents.
