APG stocks the HQ4127, an AS568-127 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.424 in (36.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.63 in (41.4 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load and economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. Expect good resistance to hydraulic fluids, water, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in automotive brake fluid or polar solvents. The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings.
