HQ4137 is an AS568-137 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.05 in (52.07 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.256 in (57.3 mm). In service, this quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Expect good resistance to hydraulic fluids, water, and greases and lubricants. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) offers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight.
