4144-366Y MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

Part number HQ4144 is an AS568-144 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.487 in (63.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.693 in (68.4 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Buna-N (Nitrile) offers an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and low compression set under sustained load. The compound resists petroleum-based oils, water, and propane and butane. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to automotive brake fluid or ketones will shorten service life. The profile itself contributes lower compressive load required to achieve a seal and two sealing bands per contact face rather than one.

Typical settings include fluid power, automotive, and general industrial maintenance.

Stocked as HQ4144 and sold individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 2 1/2 inch. Application requirements vary, so validate compatibility with your process conditions prior to installation. For a size or compound outside the standard catalog, APG can quote from a print or sample.
