**4164-366Y MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

Ordered as HQ4164, this is an AS568-164 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.237 in (158.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.443 in (163.65 mm). The quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Expect good resistance to water, hydraulic fluids, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in polar solvents or automotive brake fluid. The profile itself contributes resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings and two sealing bands per contact face rather than one.

You will find this material specified across agricultural equipment, general industrial maintenance, and automotive.

Stocked as HQ4164 and sold individually. Confirm chemical compatibility, pressure and temperature against your own application requirements before installing. APG can cross-reference from an existing part number, a drawing or a physical sample if this size is not an exact match.
