The HQ4168 is an AS568-168 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 7.237 in (183.82 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.443 in (189.05 mm). This quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Buna-N (Nitrile) offers strong abrasion and tear resistance, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. The compound resists many alcohols, greases and lubricants, and water. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ketones or polar solvents will shorten service life.
