The HQ4219 is an AS568-219 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.296 in (32.92 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.574 in (39.98 mm). This quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Buna-N (Nitrile) offers an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Expect good resistance to many alcohols, water, and hydraulic fluids. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or automotive brake fluid are present.
