*4316-366Y MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-316 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile supplied with an inside diameter of 0.85 in (21.59 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.27 in (32.26 mm), catalogued under part number HQ4316. It resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. This material stands up to propane and butane, hydraulic fluids, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ozone and direct sunlight or ketones.
