4324-366Y MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

The HQ4324 is an AS568-324 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.35 in (34.29 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.77 in (44.96 mm). This quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. It resists hydraulic fluids, many alcohols, and greases and lubricants. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or polar solvents. The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and lower compressive load required to achieve a seal.
