The HQ4327 is an AS568-327 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.725 in (43.82 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.145 in (54.48 mm). This quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for strong abrasion and tear resistance, economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. This material stands up to many alcohols, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). The profile itself contributes two sealing bands per contact face rather than one and resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings.
