A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

This material stands up to many alcohols, greases and lubricants, and water. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or polar solvents are present.
