The HQ4343 is an AS568-343 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.725 in (94.62 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.145 in (105.28 mm). This quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

It resists hydraulic fluids, water, and propane and butane. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ozone and direct sunlight or ketones.

Typical settings include agricultural equipment, construction equipment, and general industrial maintenance.
