4349-366Y MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

APG stocks the HQ4349, an AS568-349 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.475 in (113.67 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.895 in (124.33 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. The material holds up against hydraulic fluids, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight. The profile itself contributes resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings and a parting line located away from the sealing surface.

It sees regular use in fluid power, construction equipment, and general industrial maintenance.

This item is sold individually under part number HQ4349. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 4 1/2 inch. As always, verify media compatibility and operating conditions against the requirements of your specific application.
