Part number HQ4351 is an AS568-351 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.725 in (120.02 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.145 in (130.68 mm). A quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It resists petroleum-based oils, propane and butane, and many alcohols. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or strong acids. The profile itself contributes two sealing bands per contact face rather than one and lower compressive load required to achieve a seal.
