*4372-366Y MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-372 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 8.725 in (221.62 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.145 in (232.28 mm), catalogued under part number HQ4372. It provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. The compound resists petroleum-based oils, propane and butane, and hydraulic fluids. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). The profile itself contributes lower compressive load required to achieve a seal and two sealing bands per contact face rather than one.

It sees regular use in agricultural equipment, fluid power, and construction equipment.
