Ordered as HQ4377, this is an AS568-377 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.975 in (253.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.395 in (264.03 mm). The quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) offers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. It resists water, propane and butane, and hydraulic fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids will shorten service life.
