HQ4380 is an AS568-380 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 11.475 in (291.47 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.895 in (302.13 mm). In service, this quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

This material stands up to propane and butane, hydraulic fluids, and many alcohols. Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
