Part number HQ4426 is an AS568-426 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.6 in (116.84 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.15 in (130.81 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. It resists water, hydraulic fluids, and greases and lubricants.
