APG stocks the HQ4459, an AS568-459 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 14.975 in (380.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.525 in (394.34 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Expect good resistance to greases and lubricants, petroleum-based oils, and hydraulic fluids. Buna-N (Nitrile) offers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with automotive brake fluid or ketones.
