The HQ4469 is an AS568-469 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 19.955 in (506.86 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 20.505 in (520.83 mm). This quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. The compound resists hydraulic fluids, many alcohols, and greases and lubricants. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or polar solvents are present. The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and two sealing bands per contact face rather than one.

Typical settings include hydraulic and pneumatic systems, fluid power, and general industrial maintenance.
