Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds, very high tensile strength and load capacity. The compound resists impact and shock loading, extrusion under high pressure, and abrasion and wear. It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or acids and bases.
