Product Specification

-
APG stocks the H70MD163, an AS568-163 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.987 in (152.07 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.193 in (157.3 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. The compound resists propane and butane, many alcohols, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where automotive brake fluid or polar solvents are present.

This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in agricultural equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and fluid power.

Order part number H70MD163, sold individually. As always, verify media compatibility and operating conditions against the requirements of your specific application. APG supports cross-referencing from drawings, samples and competitor numbers when a listed size is not an exact fit.
