Product Specification

-
APG stocks the H70MD170, an AS568-170 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.737 in (196.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.943 in (201.75 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material holds up against hydraulic fluids, many alcohols, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or strong acids are present.

This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include agricultural equipment, general industrial maintenance, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

This item is sold individually under part number H70MD170. Confirm chemical compatibility, pressure and temperature against your own application requirements before installing. Not finding the exact configuration you need? APG cross-references from prints, samples and competitor part numbers.
