Product Specification

-
The V75MD282 is an AS568-282 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.233 in (412.32 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, aerospace, and semiconductor equipment.

V75MD282 ships individually. As always, verify media compatibility and operating conditions against the requirements of your specific application. If you need a size, durometer or compound that is not listed, APG can cross-reference from a print, a sample or a competitor part number.
