Product Specification

-
APG stocks the S70MD203, an AS568-203 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.296 in (7.52 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.574 in (14.58 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is known for very good compression set resistance across its range and excellent electrical insulating properties. The material holds up against ozone and UV exposure, dry heat, and many oxidizing chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to concentrated acids or steam above its rated range will shorten service life.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. You will find this material specified across pharmaceutical manufacturing, electronics and electrical enclosures, and medical devices.

Stocked as S70MD203 and sold individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 5/16 inch. Confirm chemical compatibility, pressure and temperature against your own application requirements before installing. For a size or compound outside the standard catalog, APG can quote from a print or sample.
