Product Specification

-
Ordered as S70MD341, this is an AS568-341 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.475 in (88.27 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.895 in (98.93 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists dry heat, many oxidizing chemicals, and weathering. Silicone is specified for physiological inertness and low toxicity, flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include pharmaceutical manufacturing, food and beverage processing, and medical devices.

Order part number S70MD341, sold individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 3 1/2 inch. Check the compound against your process media, pressure and temperature before committing to a design.
